A Legacy Built On Proportion
A long-established Chicago architecture practice with a portfolio of luxury residential towers and landmark hotels, the studio helped shape much of the city’s skyline through the 1980s and 1990s. Its work reflects a period of ambitious urban development, yet its focus on classical proportion, material rigor, and refined detailing remains central to its identity today.
The rebrand preserves this architectural heritage while presenting it through a contemporary lens. Rather than reinventing the practice, the goal was to clarify its principles and elevate how they’re expressed. A restrained palette, precise typography, and measured compositions echo the fundamentals that define the studio’s work: proportion, hierarchy, rhythm, and material clarity.
The visual language is intentionally quiet, allowing the architecture to lead. Photography, layout, and grid systems highlight the strength of the portfolio without leaning on nostalgia or overstatement. The resulting identity communicates quiet authority and renewed relevance—positioning the practice as a legacy studio with a timeless point of view and a confident place in the present.
